I got to see something really special this past Saturday, Dyl stuck his first wake to wake ts 9. Luckily I was filming, although when he landed I went a little crazy so its abit shaky, IT WAS HIS FIRST FRIGGING 9! Needless to say everyone one the boat and chase boat was super stoked, Well done buddy!

That’s what wakeboarding & wakeskating are all about.
Dyl came over to my riding spot on saterday. The weather was perfect, when we got to the dam the water was absolute glass. We each took a set and then convince my 3-Event Water Skier brother to have a wakeboard.
Then the dreaded “W” (wind) picked up. It was ok though, Dyl had another skate set, landed some new tricks (the kid’s a machine) and I decided to strap in and wakeboard for the first time in a year. It went better than I thought and it was fun. It was about 4pm and that’s usually when the “W” starts to calm down but it only got worse, so… Dyl and I decided to have some fun and try something different on the water, and we ended up creating a little skit, which I’m busy editing at the moment, so look out for that in the next few days. Lots of neon was worn, cheesy one liners were said, and a lot of laughs were shared between the 3 of us.
Just another fun day on the lake.
The annual CT International Boatshow is being held this weekend (8th-10th October 2010) at the CTICC opposite the V&A Waterfront.
I will be riding in wakeboard/wakeskate demonstration with some of SA’s top riders in the Canal infront of the Venue on Saturday. Come check it out!
*Edit* Looks like the wake demo won’t be happening anymore :( oh well still going riding at bon es with Dyl and Chis, let the good times roll. Gonna pull through to the boat show on sunday since i got VIP tickets anyway, yeeeew! love business connections
